Re: Red vs. Blue it’s true

In the New Testament, John writes in his gospel that Jesus said (paraphrasing here) the truth will set you free. A straightforward concept, idea and/or notion if ever there was one. It fits nicely with one of my favorite sayings, “the mirror don’t lie.”

Which leads me to today’s column. Last week, one of my readers forwarded me a link to a Yes! Magazine article that is a compelling piece of truth. The essay speaks with irrefutable clarity. It lays waste to uninformed, biased pontifications about what’s right and what’s wrong, who’s winning and who’s losing, red vs. blue.

Today, for the first time, rather than publish an original composition The Weekly Opine presents a link to a truth so powerfully undeniable only someone with a malfunctioning brain valve would argue against it. (Webster’s definition of truth is: the body of real things, events and facts [actuality]; the state of being the case [fact].)
